As a special feature of Eminance,
E-link offers a host of e-commerce features for both
B2B and B2C connectivity. It allows you to
communicate electronically and securely with your
patients, colleagues, suppliers or laboratories, as
well as to send the data that you stipulate to a
nominated FTP site. Data warehousing for IPA's,
ordering systems to suppliers and feedback
integration is standard in Eminance.
E-link is perfect for the small practice as well
as the large type 50 group practice and grows as you
expand. It is a complete integrated electronic
centre, allowing you to utilise e-commerce
effectively in the practice.
Unlike other systems that
require you send your claims via a specific carrier,
Health Focus allows you the choice. You can even
have multiple choices, directing your claims to the
carrier that suits your practice best. But e-Link is more than just an
EDI submission capability. It allows you to reduce
costs in the practice by computerizing your recalls,
and allowing secure email to be used.

Submit Real Time Claims
This connectivity requires an
Internet connection and allows the claim to be evaluated
and assessed immediately. Both Health Bridge and
MediSwitch are supported.
On-Line Eligibility Checks
It only takes a click of a button to
verify the membership details. This feature which is
supported in real-time by both HealthBridge and MediSwitch
requires an Internet connection.
Electronic Statements
Statements can be sent electronically
to any patient that has an email address, saving both time and money.
Referring Doctor
Ensuring compatibility with the new
medical aid Act, clinical information can be sent quickly
with a click of a button to a medical aid administrator
Patient Recalls
Patient recalls are quick and easy to
implement, and recalls can be sent via email to patients,
reducing the workload and postage costs.
Electronic Notices
Notices to selective patients or
groups of patients are quick and easy. The resident mail
merger will ensure that the right information reaches the
right patient.
Quick Access to Information
Access Medical Aid web sites. If you
use the Medprax Service, the email and web addresses of
the medical aids are instantly available. This allows our
system to send information via email. Web browsers are
launched with the click of a button.

Easy Connectivity
Even suppliers have their email
addresses on file, allowing for the quick submission of
orders. You can even email across workstations in the network.
You can stipulate files that you
want to both download and upload to a nominated FTP
site. Tag whether the service must be activated,
and the file will be sent or received according to
the rule you schedule. Our communications server
allows all users on the network to access the
integral e-mail and fax services, while downloads

| e-link requires that
only one nominated computer on the network (or stand
alone PC) does the communications work. All
requests are sent to the e-link server (such as
emails, faxes, lab reports) and is sent using one
connection. Acting like a proxy server, it allows
each PC to have email and Internet access, only with
one connection. |
