Raising the Bar of Software Security
Ever wondered how you would be able to secure your practice against fraud? Fingerprint scanning solves this problem. The advantages are numerous and include;
- The ability to protect all users, or only selected users.
- Save time by not having to log on or off.
- No more uncertainty as to who did what.
- Complete audit trail tracking, without doubt.
- Identify who took the cash
- Identify who posted the transaction
- Ideal for multiple cashiers
- Minimal login & user ID
- Ideal anti-fraud mechanism
If you already have Eminance, then you can activate this feature immediately. All you need is a biometric scanner. To activate;
- Login as the Administrator into Eminance
- Create a common user. E.g. Reception and tick the option “Finger Print Required”
- This account will be used to access the system and should thus be assigned all access rights.
- Create individual user rights and assign the various access rights as per normal.
- Log in as the individual user to capture the respective fingerprints associated with the user
- In the User setup window, click the option to “Enrol Fingerprint”
- The system will prompt the user to verify the finger print three times. Save and exit the screen.
- Do this for all respective users and then log out of Eminance
For daily use:
- Log in as the reception user.
- Any save option would now be accompanied with he following screen to verify the user.
- Once the user has been identified and matched to the stored fingerprint, the line information is saved to that users name.
Biometrics is standard in all Eminance programs and is ideal for the large clinic or multi practitioner practice.
